This PD Day is about thriving outside.
Kids might make a little forest home from good finds woods, or we may track a rabbit or a beaver and see how they get by. Participants can make and tend fires, while others may find a nice little sit spot by the river to watch the mink catch crayfish. Some kids might design a contraption for their shelter, others might prepare some kindling for the fireplace, or some art for the front door. The simple work of tending homes and each other :)
ShelterBuilder is an open ended day with support from GOS instructors who help to set the mood, hatch plans, share in the successes and failures, help with any conflict, keep us all safe, and share stories at the end of the day. See you out there.
Sliding Scale Options always available. Check out our page: economics for a changing world.
